This RM400 toothbrush is the only toothbrush you will ever need

Have you ever felt that brushing your teeth is the most troublesome thing ever? Who has time to stand in front of a mirror over a sink and just brush and brush and brush and brush? With how far technology has advanced, surely someone would have come up with a better way to carry out this menial task by now.

Well, as it turns out, yes, yes they have. This is the Amabrush and it’s every lazy person’s dream toothbrush.

I know. My jaw hit the floor too.

The Amabrush comes in a several parts. First, you have the mouthpiece which looks a little like a denture with bristles instead of teeth. According to the company, it will vibrate and oscillate the bristles to clean your teeth. It also uses the Bass method which is apparently the method of brushing that’s recommended by dentists and complete a full brush in just 10 seconds.

Amabrush’s mouthpiece is made of antibacterial silicone that the company says can kill 99.99% of all bacteria while being soft enough to prevent gum damage. You can also clean it by rinsing it like a normal toothbrush.

Next, you’ve got the handpiece which is kind of like the brains of the device. It supplies power, can last for a month on a single charge and supports wireless Qi charging.

It is also the method in which the toothpaste is delivered. With the Amabrush you will need a proprietary toothpaste capsule which costs EUR3 (around RM14). Each capsule is supposed to last more than a month.

However, there are a few things you should know before you rush off to place your order.

First, it’s a Kickstarter project and we’ve all heard the nightmare stories surrounding crowd-funded products like these. Secondly, the cheapest brush combo costs EUR79 (around RM387).

If those things don’t deter you, head on over to their Kickstarter page and place your order.
