Xiaomi has just recently launched their long awaited flagship Mi Note, and now you can snag one for yourself quicker thanks to Uber. In conjunction with the launch, Xiaomi has partnered up with Uber in Kuala Lumpur and Singapore for a unique first-of-its-kind collaboration on demand delivery of the device.

Also, did we mention that Uber lets you get the phones ahead of the mi.com sales?

Uber users in both locales will be able to order the Mi Note through an exclusive pre-launch flash sale on the Uber app on July 27th at 12PM, a full day before the device hits the official online store. There won’t be any special pricing for the Mi Note however, and will still be priced at RM 1,549 for the 64GB version. The availability for this partnership will be announced in other locales at a later date.

Ordering a Mi Note is about the same as calling for an Uber. Just open up the Uber app and use the slider below to select “Xiaomi” which will then show the orange coloured Uber cars equipped to deliver the phone, and request away. Payment will be charged directly to the user’s credit card tied to their Uber account and a Mi Note will be delivered within a few minutes.

UPDATE: According to Xiaomi Malaysia, the Uber x Mi Note deliveries are happening at KL City Centre, Bangsar, BU, TTDI, Damansara Heights, Mid-Valley City, PJ, Mont Kiara in limited quantities.

For everyone else, the Mi Note will go on sale on 28th July 2015 with the retail price of RM 1,549 and it will be offered on contract from our telcos a bit later. At the moment, we are just getting the standard Mi Note and not their top of the line Mi Note Pro that comes with a Quad HD display, Snapdragon 810 processor and 4GB of LP-DDR4 RAM.
