If you got the need for speed, Maxis has introduced its fastest 100Mbps fibre broadband plan for residential use. Before this, home users are limited to Time Broadband’s 100Mbps offering at RM179 which has limited service area. TM on the other hand does offer 100Mbps connectivity but it is only for commercial users at the moment.

With 100Mbps, you can stream ultra high resolution videos in 4K UHD and Maxis claims that it comes with unlimited data usage. If you’re a MaxisOne plan customer, you can get additional discount up to RM68/month.

The 100Mbps plan is offered at RM398/month (exclusive 6% GST) and it is tied with 24 months contract. If you’re a MaxisOne plan customer, it can be yours for just RM330/month. The plan also gets RM30/month of free call credit to mobile numbers, fixed lines and IDD numbers. In terms of availability, it is subject to your location which you can check from their website. In case you didn’t know, Maxis Fibre runs on TM’s existing HSBB infrastructure.

There are other cheaper plans such as 30Mbps, 20Mbps and 10Mbps which are offered at RM248/month, RM198/month and RM148/month respectively. MaxisOne subscribers do get a discount but at RM20/off each month.

Like most services, there’s usually a FUP (Fair Usage Policy) in place to manage their network utilisation. Under their FAQ, it states that their 10Mbps fibre plan has a 100GB quota but currently they are offering unlimited quota download until further notice. This is a similar stance as TM, where its monthly Unifi download quota are not enforced yet.

On top of that, if you’re not happy with Maxis’ Fibre Internet, they are also offering 30 days Return Back Guarantee. This allows you to disconnect with no obligations and additional charges.
