Fitbit, The World’s No. 1 Wearable Brand is coming to Malaysia

Smart Wearables is a hot segment for tech which is heavily driven by fitness bands. Fitbit, which is one of the biggest names in the fitness tracking business is finally entering the Malaysian market.

According to the latest IDC numbers for wearables, Fitbit is currently ranked #1 for Q1 2015. They currently command over 34% market share with 3.9 million units sold in the first 3 months of this year. Following closely in 2nd place is none other than Xiaomi, with its affordable Mi Band having sold over 2.8 million units with 24.6% market share.

Depending on how active you are, Fitbit offers a wide array of wearables that are suited from the casual day to day activity tracking to its top of the line Fitbit Surge Watch that comes with a continuous heart rate tracking.
