Anyone who has owned a smartphone knows that feeling of horror when you accidentally drop yours phone. Did the screen crack or scuff or maybe your case be dented beyond repair, it’s a terrible feeling.
Here we have two flagship smartphones square off in a test of mettle and endurance; where both devices fall to their “deaths” to see who can take a bigger beating, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge versus the Apple iPhone 6.
The first test involved a drop from a waist height, followed by head height and finally a ten feet drop. Of the two, the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge held up much better than the iPhone 6 and was still functional at the end of the test with while the latter had stopped functioning completely. The S6 edge does sport Corning Gorilla Glass 4 so that might have contributed a lot towards it’s durability.,
