HTC has begun teasing about their latest flagship smartphone as MWC draws closer. HTC initially didn’t officially mention what their event would be focusing on when the brand sent out their invites but based on all the rumours and speculation it’s a no brainer that HTC was going to reveal another HTC One smartphone. And now we have this teaser from HTC UK.

To recap all the information that we know of the new HTC One M9, is that it will have a similar all aluminium unibody, an updated boomsound speak grill as well as camera and it will have a radically different design from it’s predecessor the M8. However there has been some discrepancy between leaks so it’s quite likely that dummy decoys might have been released to thwart early leaks.

Spec-wise, the HTC One M9 is rumoured to run on Qualcomm’s Octa-Core 64-bit Snapdragon 810 processor with 3GB of RAM while the front display retains the similar 5″ screen with Full HD resolution. It will be juiced up with a slightly bigger 2,840mAh capacity battery and for imaging it will get a 20.7MP shooter at the back while selfies are taken with an Ultrapixel camera (presumably 4MP effective with 2.0 micron pixel size). Out of the box, you can count on them to be running on the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop with a newer Sense 7.0 interface.

There’s also rumours that HTC is planning to reveal a wearable as well, so there might be a chance we might get to see it at MWC this year.
