Thought you’ve seen HTC’s next flagship? Apparently the images of the alleged HTC One M9 are nowhere close to the real deal.

According to a source, HTC is using decoy or disguised units which doesn’t represent the actual device. They added that the new One M9 will be different from their current flagship and it will feature a edge to edge display. The Boom Sound speaker will be pushed closer towards the edges while the front facing camera is said to be positioned right in the centre, just like the HTC Desire 826 and Desire EYE as pictured above.

Since the previous HTC One M8 was leaked extensively, the Taiwanese smart phone maker is doing all it can to keep things under wraps until the big day. HTC is expected to announce the One M9 on the eve of MWC 2015. Samsung has done something similar before by using various cases to conceal its actual design. Let’s see if they can come out with a killer design this 1st March.
