If you’re still using that old BlackBerry Bold and refusing to make a jump to the latest BlackBerry 10 devices, the BlackBerry Classic could be the device worth waiting for. While it runs on its latest BlackBerry 10 operating system underneath, the exterior still follows the traditional BlackBerry style with its popular QWERTY keyboard along with its 4 navigation keys and trackpad.

If you’re not convinced, BlackBerry has released a short video showcasing how its retro keys would work on the latest BlackBerry 10 OS. Instead of the usual swiping gestures, you can easily move around with its dedicated menu and back keys like the classic Bold series. You can check it out after the break.

The BlackBerry Classic will be launched next month and it is likely that BlackBerry will be pushing this to most markets quickly. Spec-wise it is definitely notch below the BlackBerry Passport and it appears to be running on a similar hardware as the BlackBerry Q10 however the screen is slightly bigger at 3.5″ and it pushes 720×720 resolution. In the US, it is priced at US$449 which is about RM1,500.
