If the BlackBerry Passport feels too wide in your hands, perhaps the old school BlackBerry Classic might tickle your fancy. In the US, BlackBerry has started pre-orders at US$449 (about RM1,500) and it will be launched officially next month on 17th December at New York, Frankfurt and Singapore.

Spec-wise, the BlackBerry Classic is positioned below its Passport flagship with a smaller 3.5″ screen that does 720×720 pixels resolution. Being a classic device, it features BlackBerry’s signature trackpad, physical navigation keys and the familiar QWERTY keyboard that has always been an integral part of the BlackBerry Bold family.

Internally it could be featuring the same 1.5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor with 2GB that’s found on the Q10. Storage would be rocking a 16GB on-board along with a 8MP main, 2MP front camera and it also comes with 4G LTE support. So basically this is looking like a BlackBerry Q10 with an old-school BlackBerry Bold exterior.

Head after the break for couple of early photos of the BlackBerry Classic from N4BB.
