Want to own a Samsung Galaxy S5 (Buy Now), Maxis is making it easier for you to make the jump. Originally priced at RM2,399, the Galaxy S5 is now cheaper outright at RM2,149. For those who prefer to get it on contract, Maxis is giving you an extra RM300 off and now they are accepting trade-ins of your existing phone.
Like its recent smart phone offering, the Galaxy S5 is bundled with MaxisOne Plan that offers limitless talk and SMS. Depending on what smart phones you’re currently using, Maxis is offering up to RM1,000 in value (iPhone 5) and the Galaxy S5 can be yours for just RM199 (with 24 months contract).
According to its trade-in list above, the iPhone 5 is valued at RM1,000 while other flagship smart phones of 2013 are valued at about RM750. During sign up, you would need to pay an advance payment which will be rebated back over 4 months. If you’re an existing Maxis customer of over a year with good payment records, the advance payment will be waived.
