The Samsung Galaxy S5 came with water and dust resistance that’s rated at IP67. This is the same as the former Samsung Galaxy S4 Active. Now it appears that Samsung will be releasing a Galaxy S5 Active which has appeared in a rather clear hands-on video.
The Galaxy S5 Active which carries the model number SM-G807A is the rugged version of the current Galaxy S5. It gets a more utilitarian look and still features a heart rate sensor at the back. Over at the front, it uses physical buttons for its contextual, home and back keys like the previous Galaxy S4 Active. The back cover is still removable, giving easy access to its removable battery, micro-SIM and microSD card slot.
