We go deep inside the box the ASUS Transformer Prime, world’s first quad-core tablet, to reveal all its details. Some that you might be interested in:

  • Our unit is running Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich right out of the box. Most first batch units will still be running Honeycomb but it will tell you to run an update right after you’ve connected it a WiFi network
  • ASUS included a cleaning cloth with the Transformer Prime. We think this is because the screen and brushed Alluminum finished and the screen are efficient fingerprint magenets

Look out for our first impressions coming soon.

Question: Why is the keyboard layout (especially the enter key) a bit different from some i see in youtube videos? AFAIK the layout should be exactly the same as the first gen transformer where the enter key takes up 1 row instead of 2 rows
