The picture above was taken using the Meizu MX. By its own right, the China-made Meizu MX takes stunning pictures but it’s when you compare it with the iPhone 4S, you see how amazing the phone is considering how much it costs.
The Meizu MX retails for HK$3,099, which at today’s exchange rate is about RM1,265. That’s ridiculously cheap when you look at the spec sheet. For less that RM1,300 you get an Android 2.3 smartphone with a 1.4Ghz dual-core Exynos processor with 1GB of RAM, a 4-inch 960×640 pixel LCD and an 8MP camera with a backlit sensor (similar technology used in the iPhone 4S and the Sony Xperia ray, arc, and arc S).
From the sample pictures, we’re really impressed with the camera performance of this Meizu MX and when you consider the asking price and from what we’ve read about this little known Android smartphone , we’re seriously wondering why the MX has not yet arrived here, surely there is great potential for the Meizu MX here.
Head on over to after the jump for a few more side-by-side sample picture comparison between the Meizu MX and the iPhone 4S.

Looking good! Im honestly excited. If only China made phones like Meizu and Xiaomi are available here in Malaysia, give other Android devices a run for its money.
Camera lense is one thing.
Having a Ferrari performance car does not mean it will stand the test time.
Battery, touchscreen response, heat. They are many finer things to details that need to be proven.
Not a fanboy of any product. Quality comes a long way. If this product is like every made in china mentality.
Buy because it's cheap discard and buy again when newer model is out. Rather than a long lasting product. It's not doing the world any good.
So your point is Jpatson.? iPhone or Meizu.?
IMHO…
Wait and see?
Unless you have the money to burn for both phone,
on another hand, you know what you are expecting from an iPhone.
But do you want to gamble on Meizu, use it for a couple of weeks or months.
perhaps sell it off if you don't like it. Since it's cheap…
