iPhone 4 8GB available outright for RM1,799

While waiting for the iPhone 4S to show up in Malaysia, the iPhone 4 8GB version is finally available in Malaysia. It is currently selling through Apple’s Online Store for RM1,799 in both Black and White colour options. Best of all, there’s no tie in with any telco so you can pop in any micro-SIM of your choice without any lock-in contract.
Looking at the bigger picture, this may very well indicate that the iPhone 4S will be coming in very soon. In September last year, the iPhone 3GS 8GB version was offered in Malaysia 24 days before the iPhone 4 was launched by both Maxis and DiGi. Your guess is as good as ours but it is highly possible for the iPhone 4S to arrive in the next month or so.

IMO 1799 is quite expensive for a 8GB iPhone 4.

yup, ip4 is too powerful to only use 8GB. so many cool games.

8GB is more than enough if you don't load music and video which many probably won't listen to save battery.

8GB is NOT enough if any of these apply to you :
1) love playing 3D games (I have several which are more than 500MB each)
2) shoot lots of videos
3) have lots of multimedia contents (songs, pictures, videos/movies!!!)
4) never delete any seldom-used apps (I have more than 200 apps loaded but use less than 15 within any week; the rest are just-in-case)

I only use social apps, instagram and a few couple apps. My music takes only 1 gb. My photos all go to skydrive and dropbox. Im gonna get this in white for my birthday! Im 16 this year! im so excited.
I guess now we know why Samsung reduced the price of SGS II recently
