Apple says the OS X Lion advances even further what it claims is the already “world’s most advanced desktop operating system” — the Mac OS. With features like Launchpad, full-screen apps and Mission Control, Lion blur the line between desktop and iOS devices but is it really the what Apple cracks it to be?
Maybe not entirely.
Check out this video of a disgruntled Apple fan who got so pissed off with Lion that he ranted off for 14 minutes, and he just played with the OS for 20 minutes. Yes, 14 minutes is long for web video standards but its worth watching. And there’s quite a few more Lion rants on YouTube as well.
For those of you who’ve had the Lion for longer, what do you think?

He used it for 20 mins and made a 14 min video to complain about it? Amazing.
Anyway, I've been using OS X since Jaguar and have upgraded to every new OS since then. Now that I'm on Lion, I can say that it is indeed the most advanced operating system so far, IMHO.
It's far more comfortable to use than any of its predecessors. Panther introduced Expose, Lion has perfected it with Mission Control. But of course, the 'natural' scrolling is a pain for most people, so I turned it off myself. Although Rosetta support will be missed by some, it's time to move on anyway.
Should Snow Leopard users upgrade? Yes.
Should Natty Narwhal users switch? Maybe.
Should Windows 7 users switch? Most definitely.
It's quite nice. Especially for new Mac owners.
I recommend it for all those who can have access to it. It's expensive to get to… but it's kinda worth it. Just don't throw away your old PCs just yet in case you have to use that occasional Windows only software.
Natural scrolling is completely natural once you get used to it.
what i can say is, this guy just don't know how to use Mac although he claims he has few Apple products.
to change the Scrolling direction, is easily can find in the Settings under "Scroll & Zoom" -> Scroll direction: natural
At the moment, Chrome isn't really true full screen app. Try Safari, iTune, Mail, iCal then you will know what i mean. However, to exit Chrome full screen just right in the menu View->Exit Full Screen.
Why he can't open screenflow? see the video at 2.06, he is downloading illegally through demonoid.me, i wonder if he also get this Lion legally?
However, i'm happy with my Lion installed in my Macbook Pro with no complain
he misread OS "ten" as OS "X". kinda stupid considering he claims himself to be a "big fan of Apple".
I agree with some points in the video. My biggest complaint would be the revamped Expose. I personally prefer the Expose on Snow Leopard. It used to work really well both on my Mac and Apple Cinema. Now i have to cope up with the new Expose. =_=||| Overall, i am satisfied with OS X Lion but not so happy with the direction OS itself is heading.
Hope he happy with his LION by now, nevertheless, the video is full of rage…LMAO
