While waiting for a fresh batch of BlackBerry devices to come our way, CrackBerry & N4BB has stumble upon some tutorial videos which showcases the new device UI. This year, BlackBerry is expected to release a Blackberry Bold replacement that comes with a touch screen. It carries the codename Dakota (GSM) and Montana (CDMA). The other device is what seems to be a BlackBerry Storm replacement known as the Monaco.
In a time where most smart phones are already breaking the 1GHz barrier, the rumoured BlackBerry Trio too is said to be bumping up their processor, RAM and screen resolutions to close the gap with their rivals. In case you missed it, you can check out the earlier leak videos of the BlackBerry Storm 3 here and early shots of the BlackBerry Bold Touch here.
The videos are quite short with less than 30 seconds each but it gives you a quick preview of what BlackBerry 6.1 has to offer on these new models. Check out the UI demos after the break.
It is very possible that the iPad 2 will be here before this month ends, but before that what are you to do? Why not take a breather and watch this nice claymation video staring the tablet.

Here’s a fantastic case of game imitating life. The cute video using Angry Birds with backing tracks from Disney’s classic Three Little Pigs cartoon, tells the story of the downfall of Tunisian ex-president Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, Egyptian ex-president Muhammad Hosni Sayyid Mubarak and Libyan leader Muammar Muhammad al-Gaddafi — the three big pigs.
The ousting of the former two from power are already well documented in the pages of history, could the cartoon be a prophecy of what will happen to Gaddafi? Here’s hoping.
Bonus: Original Disney Three Little Pigs cartoon video after the jump.
We probably need to pull the local video analysis experts off the sex video case to take a look at this video of what looks like a Nokia N8 running Windows Phone 7.
So here we have a video of a Nokia N8 running Windows Phone 7 but is it the real deal?
If you ask us, the it looks highly suspect. It could be a hack but we feel the most likely scenario is that the interface that appears on the screen of the device is actually a video.
Our reason? If you look closely at 0:05, the person recording the video closes up to the top part of the device to try to show that it is indeed a Nokia N8. Then at 0:10, he scrolls the home screen up but if you look closely his finger action is not in sync with the movement on the N8′s screen, his finger continues to go up but the screen stops moving.
On top of that, if you’ve used Windows Phone, you’ll know that the UI has this unique trait where if you scrolled all the way to the end of the screen, the panels get squished to tell you that you can’t scroll anymore. In this video, that squished effect is not seen.
So we think this is actually a video of a video on a Nokia N8. What do you think?
