DiGi Prepaid CNY Top Up Promo

This coming Chinese New Year, DiGi is doing a top-up promotion for prepaid where top ups of RM30 from 25-27 January 2011 will get Free 28 DiGi to DiGi SMS and 18 minutes of DiGi to DiGi talktime. Each prepaid user is limited to redeem maximum of 5 times and the free SMS and calls won’t be credited immediately. According to DiGi, it will only be paid out by February 2011.
Surprisingly unlike its previous festive promo,there’s nothing for postpaid customers right now. We personally feel that DiGi’s festive promotion of giving free calls within the same network is getting dry right now and they should consider doing something more exciting for the next one.

3. Contest Eligibility
All DiGi Postpaid and DiGi Prepaid subscribers residing in Malaysia are eligible to participate in the Contest except as provided for in this Terms and Conditions. By participating, the Participants confirm they have obtained prior consent from their respective parents or guardians (for those under the age of 18 years).
The following categories are not eligible for the Contest:
Happy Subscribers;
Broadband subscribers;
Prepaid Internet subscriber;
Ambassador Plan subscribers;
Employees of DiGi Telecommunications Bhd.; and
Employees of DiGi's partners, advertising, promotion agencies and any other persons involved in organizing, promoting and/or conducting the Contest;
DiGi reserves the sole and absolute discretion to exclude any Participant (who would otherwise be eligible) who as deemed by DiGi in its absolute discretion to be sub-standard, doubtful, bad or delinquent or in the event that the Contest is not conducted in a proper and satisfactory manner.

4. Contest mechanics
Any persons eligible falling within clause 3 herein who makes any chargeable voice calls with a minimum duration of one (1) minute within the Contest Period will be eligible to participate in the Contest.
Throughout the Contest Period, each eligible person who is the 888th caller of the hour shall be shortlisted as the prospective winner for the Contest. DiGi will contact all shortlisted prospective winners through their mobile phones from 7th February 2011 to 11th February 2011 to answer a simple question related to DiGi.
Participants are encouraged to keep their mobile phones activated from 7th February 2011 to 11th February 2011. In the event DiGi is unable to contact a particular shortlisted prospective winner after three (3) voice call attempts during two (2) consecutive working days, that particular shortlisted prospective winner will automatically be disqualified. The non-contactable shortlisted prospective winners shall have no claims whatsoever against DiGi on the disqualifications.
DiGi reserves the right to draw reserve winners to substitute any prospective winner subsequently found to be disqualified.

The next prospective winner will be the 889th caller of the hour.
The identity of the prospective winner when called must be the same as per the registered user in our system.
Shortlisted prospective winner who provide the correct to the question posed, will be awarded as the winner of that hour and will be notified on the spot during the Question & Answer phone session.
Participant who provides an incorrect answer will be disqualified as a winner and the next prospective winner will be contacted.
There will be a total of ninety six (96) winners for this Contest. Each participant is entitled to win one (1) Prize only:-
Forty eight (48) Prepaid customers;
Forty eight (48) Postpaid customers.
DiGi's determination of the winners shall be final, conclusive and binding. No correspondence or claims will be entertained. The selection of the winners shall be at DiGi's sole and absolute discretion.

Each winner shall be entitled to one (1) prize only. DiGi reserves the right to disqualify any participation by the Participants and/or withhold the Prizes aforementioned at DiGi's sole and absolute discretion should the winners be found to be ineligible or it there are any fraud cases detected before the Prizes are handed over and/or delivered to the winners.
Customer account must be active at the point of fulfilment. Terminated accounts will not be eligible to receive the prizes and the prizes will be forfeited

1. The "CNY 888th Caller" contest ("the Contest") is organized by DiGi Telecommunications Sdn. Bhd. (201283-M) ("Organizer and /or DiGi") and is open to all individuals residing in Malaysia ("Participant").
2. The Contest commences at 12.01am on 3 February 2011 and runs until 11.59pm on 4 February 2011 or any other duration specified by DiGi ("Contest Period").
