Maxis iPhone 3GS 8GB Pricing Leaked

Posted:  August 27, 2010   By: soyacincau   3 comments

While waiting for the iPhone 4 announcement, a lowyat forum user rynstar has posted the leaked pricing of Maxis’s iPhone 3GS 8GB. The iPhone 3GS 8GB is the new “entry level” iPhone launched together with the iPhone 4.

From the partial shot above, the iPhone 3GS 8GB retails at RM1990 and it can be free on an unnamed plan over 24 months. We believe the upper part of table could be bundled pricing for iValue plans while the lower 2 could be for Prepaid users judging on its higher price tag.

No updates on their website yet but this could indicate that the official Maxis iPhone 4 launch is imminent.

Video: Samsung Galaxy Tab Usability video

Posted:  August 27, 2010   By: soyacincau   1 comment

Things are heating up for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab 7″ Tablet. After release of the trailer, we now have a Korean video showing more of the tablet. There’s a size comparison and even a couple of hands-on usability shots as well.

Surprisingly the Tab has DMB TV capabilities which most likely omitted for shipments outside Korea. From the usability, the UI of the Galaxy Tabs looks like a good rip-off from Apple. The look and feel of the keyboard and even its notes app looks very Apple-ish. Not too sure if Apple will be knocking on Samsung’s door soon but it is obvious that they are trying to take a slice of the iPad cake. Looks aside, the Galaxy Tab does perform pretty smooth and it is tablet worth looking out for.
