Samsung Hub has gotten their hands on the leaked specs for Samsung Galaxy Q. According to reports, the Galaxy Q is designed to be a BlackBerry competitor, spotting a QWERTY keyboard in candybar format.
As shown on the leaked specs above, it is quite similar to the Samsung Galaxy S but it uses a smaller 3″ 720×480 Super AMOLED screen. What you’ll also get is a higher 8MP camera for the back and a better 1.3MP camera for the front. From the specs, it will come with Android 2.2 Froyo installed.
Sadly, no leaked photos are available to tease our curiousity. In the past, Samsung has done a good job with QWERTY candybar phones, like the Windows Mobile powered Samsung i780. We are definitely looking forward to this one as well.

Apple’s iPad which was just introduced internationally including our neighbouring Singapore has just hit a snag. According to reports, the iPad’s display supplier LG is facing production cut on its LCDs next month. This will eventually affect the iPad which is having high demands worldwide.
It was mentioned that the Apple ipad had sold as many as 3.47 million units now and LG is struggling to keep up with the demand. A research even forecasted that there would be around 13 million iPads sold by end of this year. That’s quite a lot of iPads especially when the rest of the world has yet to able to get it.
