Microsoft employees around the world to get Windows Phone 7

A resident Microsoft pundit from ZDNet US retweeted a tweet from a Microsoft employee saying that “every single Microsoft employee will get a Windows Phone 7” device.

By “every single”, sources are saying that this means every Microsoft employee around the world (over 90,000 employees), and by around the world we assume that this will very well include Malaysia as well.

What does this mean? It means Microsoft is going big with the Windows Phone 7 platform, but that’s a given. What is interesting to note is that if the dogfooding is done simultaneously across all the Microsoft offices around the world, then it would mean that the Windows Phone 7 could reach Malaysia as early as October.

If this is indeed true that things will get very, very interesting indeed. We’ve seen demos of the Windows Phone 7 and it looks good. There’s a lot of potential for the platform but as always, the proof is in eating the pudding and we’ll be right at the front of the line when Microsoft does announce that the Windows Phone 7 is coming to Malaysia.

Who’s going to bet that Maxis will be the first telco to offer Maxis Phone 7 plan bundle?

3 Comments for Microsoft employees around the world to get Windows Phone 7

Microsoft isn’t any stranger to having companions galore within the cellphone business, but its lineup of producers for the upcoming, surprisingly promising Windows Cellphone 7 launch is no less impressive. After loads of rumoring, Microsoft has confirmed that Dell and HTC will be making Home windows Phone 7 telephones, in addition to ASUS, LG, and Samsung who had already been confirmed. All of these firms should have their stamp on hardware by the end of the 12 months, with the launch of the OS nonetheless vaguely slated for the “holidays” We have no doubt that every one five producers can build some compelling, attractive hardware, however we’re particularly enthused to see Dell actually entering into the sport after the impressive Streak and that drool worthy leak a short while back. read extra at http://www.wp7forum.com fans group.
