Maybank, Malaysia’s most extensive bank is having a promotion for its mobile site, m2u Mobile. From 14th July 2010 onwards, they are giving away a HTC Desire daily for transacting on their mobile site.

To join, just access their mobile site at http://mobile.maybank2u.com.my with your mobile and make a bill payment or interbank transfer. After your transaction, you will be asked a question. If you are the 1000th person with the correct answer, you’ll win the device. This runs until 21st October 2010.

Another interesting thing they highlighted is that m2u is FREE to access on Celcom, DiGi and Maxis subscribers for a short promo period as follows:

While we wait for the big announcement from Apple, Whoopi Goldberg has taken matters to her own hands. When Whoopi was talking on the phone for a live interview, the iPhone 4 failed on her. Frustrated with the device, she came out from her car and smashed it on the floor into pieces.

She still has the 3G version which she claims it is still reliable and working well.

While Apple had released the iOS 4.1 update to developers, now they have released the iOS 4.0.1 update for iPhones and iOS 3.2.1 for iPads. What’s new for the iPhone is that they have changed the bar sizes which is the supposed fix for the iPhone 4 reception problems.
