DiGi cuts iPhone 3GS prices & monthly fee

If you’ve been eyeing for an iPhone 3GS, DiGi has slashed its iPhone 3GS prices by RM200 and also reduced its monthly iPhone plans as well. Its iDiGi 88, 138 and 238 have been slashed to RM60, RM90 and RM160 monthly respectively.

This comes expected as the arrival of the iPhone 4 is near and carriers overseas have done the same price slash as well. Not forgetting also is that a new 8GB iPhone 3GS will be coming as the lowest entry phone and it may be priced ever lower than current offerings.
Next question on the list, when will pre-orders for iPhone 4 be announced?

Hi, actually both price and plans are reduced, nothing has been increased. In fact for the phones, they are all RM200 off. Example, the iPhone 3GS 16GB was at RM1090 and now RM890 for iDiGi 138 over 24 months contract, while the iPhone 3GS 32GB was RM1590 and now RM1390.

no . the only thing reduced is the plan . which save rm200 for 24 months . they raised up the iphone price and reduced the plan . but overall , u still get to save rm200 . the original price for iphone 3gs 16gb was at rm1090 before and nw rm2042 during the payment . thanks !

this is really confusing, i have a question,
if i wan to get a iPhone 3Gs 16gb with iDiGi 138 which is RM90 per month,
how much should i pay at the first time i register the plan and buy the phone using cash/credit card?
then the following month i just only have to pay RM90 per month?

Digi raised the price of their iphones and then reduced the monthly. One up one down. What's wrong here?
