It’s now almost close to a month after Google made Froyo public and yet the only phone that has so far been able to download and use the latest Android OS is Google’s very own Nexus One.
We’re not sure what’s the holdup but Google’s delay in release 2.2 into Android’s now very rich and diverse ecosystem is only going to be detrimental to them. At the very least, there is a great deal of confusion amongst owners of Android devices as to if and when will Froyo be available for their device.
With very little word from Google, we’ll just have to play the guessing game and look for possible clues that can point us in the right direction as to which devices will get Froyo and which will not.
In our search, we’ve discovered this very interesting article from PC World in which the site has assembled the most comprehensive list to date on the devices that will be receiving Froyo.

When it comes to gadgets, Apple products are the dog’s bollocks. Whatever your opinions are about them doodads designed in Cupertino, almost everyone else wants one.
…but to what extent? How far will we go with our obsession on the latest and the greatest from Apple? There’s no denying that it can get pretty extreme. There was even a case where some poor guy lost his finger over an iPad that’s not even his in the first place.
We stumbled across this comic and it pretty much sums up how crazy we can get for a bunch of circuits and processors. Hit the link to take a look. Yeah, it’s kindda funny but it’s also scary how real it is.

The guys at Blendtec are at it again. Or are they?
Well, this is not quite the iPhone 4 blending epic that we’ve have hoped for, but it does give a teaser of what is to come. Yes people, Blendtec will blend the iPhone 4 just after it’s available in stores. At least that’s what it says in the video.
But there’s a bit of mystery here. The end frame of the video says “to be continued June 25…”, because the Blendtec guys think that they can get the iPhone 4 by then, but we all know that’s not going to happen. Apple has just pushed back the in store date for the iPhone 4 to July 14. So expect to see the blending carnage by then. Unless of course they can get it before that.
We’re definitely looking forward to this. We want to see how the super tough aluminosilicate glass panel is going to stand up against those manacing Blendtec blender blades.
What is to come after the thorough blending? Well you can expect the iPhone 4 to be kicked about by a group teenagers full of angst and also. Also a video of the smartphone being cooked to perfection in a microwave. Oh we can’t wait!
In the meantime, take a look at the Blendtec video after the jump.

Just a day after pre-ordering is made available, the Apple iPhone 4 had been insanely sought after with more than 600,00 pre-orders placed. The demand is so crazy that users faced difficulty pre-booking it online like its AirAsia’s “Zero Fare” fever. As comparison, the hot selling iPad took 28 days to reach 1 million units. This could set a new record for the hottest Apple product yet.
According to AT&T, the pre-orders are ten times compared to the iPhone 3GS launched a year ago. With such demand, Apple might need to look into increasing supplies before it hampers other international releases.
Due to the fact that many potential customers had problems pre ordering their units, Apple issued the following statement:
Yesterday Apple and its carrier partners took pre-orders for more than 600,000 of Apple’s new iPhone 4. It was the largest number of pre-orders Apple has ever taken in a single day and was far higher than we anticipated, resulting in many order and approval system malfunctions. Many customers were turned away or abandoned the process in frustration. We apologize to everyone who encountered difficulties, and hope that they will try again or visit an Apple or carrier store once the iPhone 4 is in stock.
