We found this viral website masking itself as a blog that is championing the cause against – of all things – cheap Internet.
The People Against Cheap Internet Konection or PACIK for short, is apparently an organisation that believes the Internet is evil because it causes Internet addiction. The founder and chairman of PACIK claims that the inspiration for the movement came after a close friend lost his arm from too much Internet.
Ok…
If you believe in the cause, you can join PACIK fight against cheap Internet and Internet addiction.
It all sounds a bit too far-fetched to be true and most probably everything on the site/blog is fictional.
What we’re interested in is who made this site/blog and for what reason.

Whatever it is, you can’t deny that the iPad is a pretty awesome device.
And one geeky DJ has just bumped up the awesome factor of the iPad by 100. She hooked up two iPads into a DJ mixer and churning sweet thumping beats out of them. The DJ in question – Rana Sobhany – could also very well be the World’s first iPad DJ.
If you want to make a DJ rig just like Rana’s, here’s the lowdown.
No computers or synthesizers were used in this setup. A DJ mixer is connected to the iPads via a standard mini-jack and the mixer is connected to an amp and you’re done. It’s a simple and easy-to-use setup. All in, she reckons the setup cost less than US$1300.
All the apps that she’s running is listed on her project blog – Destroy the Silence – here.
The Destroy the Silence blog is her experiment in revolutionizing the way music is being created using the iPad without the need to use laptops or synthesizers.
Also interesting to note, she didn’t hack either iPads and all the apps are off the shelf stuff you can get in Apple’s App Store.
Check out the video of the setup and some demo play after the jump.

Immagine being able to surf the web with a solid broadband connection while you’re in a taxi heading into downtown KL. Or perhaps being able to watch streaming videos while taking your daily commute to work in the KTM commuter, or while blasting down the PLUS highway at over 100km/h
Well this is what’s happening in Taiwan. Just last month, 1000 taxis have been made WiMAX enabled to allow passengers to surf the web. And just recently, Taiwan’s Industrial Technology Research Institute had successfully concluded test showing that mobile broadband surfing via WiMAX on a high-speed vehicle is diefinitely possible.
The researchers were able to access the Internet and watch streaming videos while travelling over 300km/h in High Speed Rail bullet train.
And get this, Taiwan has yet to launch a commercial WiMAX service.
Very impressive indeed. Our hopes Malaysia’s WiMAX operators? Simply, a reliable, high-performance service with excellent coverage please. Same goes to the other non-WiMAX ISPs as well.

The first quarter numbers are in and it doesn’t look good for one of the largest mobile phone manufacturers, Nokia.
The Finnish phone maker posted unexpectedly low profits for its smartphones sales in the first quarter for this year which is very likely a direct result of its competitors’ models producing better devices – namely the iPhone, a slew of Android devices and the ever popular Blackberry.
Nokia posted a loss of £195.9 million with the company’s shares dropping 13 per cent.
The challenge Nokia is facing is due to the fact the its competitors are moving their stock around to appeal to different audiences. The iPhone for example, has been priced down to appeal to a broader mass market, making it much harder for Nokia to compete against.
In addition, Blackberry have changed their marketing approach and are now looking to shed the business suit for a more casual outfit to appeal to buyers who would not normally consider purchasing a Blackberry. And devices running the Android OS is quickly filling up the smartphone market with a plethora of choices from the entry level HTC Tattoo to the flagship Google Nexus One and Droid Incredible – effectively spoiling the market with some pretty good choices.
Even Microsoft is nibbling off Nokia’s smartphone pie with its youth-centric, social media friendly KIN devices and a series of Windows Phone 7 Series smartphones coming later this year.
It is indeed shaping up to be interesting times ahead for gadget junkies in 2010 as the was or the devices looks like its just getting started.

Theoretically speaking, spec for spec, how would the much antcipated iPhone HD/4G stack up against it competitors.
Yes, its pointless to compare theoretical specs because almost nothing is confirmed on the new iPhone but we thought it’d be fun.

The concept of a projector so small you can keep it in your pocket is just awesome; but as all concepts go, the real life applications of such a device is far from what we’ve immagine. And that is something we’ve come to realise with our first encounter with a pocket projector.
Being the gadget junkies that we are, we’ve always wanted to get ourselves a pocket projector as we thought that we’d be able to find some very cool uses for it. Now that we’ve gotten our hands on one, we’re not too sure if the advantages of an ultra-portable projector outweights the downsides in terms of clarity, brightness and overall picture quality.
This is the review of the 3M MPro150 Pocket Projector.
