For the longest time, we’ve been waiting for a Mac driver for the P1 W1GGY USB WiMAX modem.
P1 took their time getting it out but we’re happy to inform that there is now P1 W1GGY driver support for Mac OS Leopard and Snow Leopard.
Pitty no Linux support though.
Hit up the LINK to download the Mac driver.
Before the Nexus One, the Moto Droid was Android’s shining beacon.
Together with Verizon, the Droid Does PR blitz created such a buzz that even Jobs would be proud of. The Droid Does campaign positioned the Moto Droid as the phone that would do battle with the mighty iPhone and bring it to its knees.
Well, we all know it didn’t quite turn out that way. The iPhone is still the phone to beat and the Moto Droid now has to contend with a stablemate of sorts in the form of the Nexus One.
Nevertheless, The Droid is still a worthy smartphone by its own right.
We’ve complained about Android devices are slim pickings here in Malaysia, well not anymore. Android fans in Malaysia can now get their geeky hands on the Moto Droid aka Motorola Milestone for around RM2,300 from Motorola Malaysia.
With a 550MHz, its not going to be as silky smooth as the iPhone but with free turn-by-turn navigation support with Google Maps, multitasking support and a 5MP camera, it has its strengths.
For more details on the Milestone hit up the LINK to go to Motorola Malaysia’s official site but before that, check out this awesome comparison chart pitting the Droid aka Milestone against the 3G S, Nexus One and Palm Pre.
For many of us, the iPad, for now at least, is just an illusion. A fragment of our immagination. As real and as tangible as smoke…because its not officially on sale here in Malaysia yet.
That shouldn’t stop you from getting one.
With the right selection of Lego bricks and some time in your hands, you can make your very own iPad.
A pretty handy guy in flickr did it and it doesn’t look too bad. Check out his set HERE.
Ok so it doesn’t support multitouch and have almost no storage space but we reckon it’d be cool to have one on the living room coffee table just for fun!

A lot of people have a lot to say about this update and along with it, the launch of the new iPhone. Even the man himself – Steve Jobs – was reported to say that Apple will deliver updates to the iPhone that Android/Google won’t be able to keep up with.

Everybody wants an iPad, what else it new?
Well…this is.
Malaysians can now get in on the iPAd action with a website called vshub.com.
The Virtual Shopping Hub is offering a concierge service that allows Malaysians to order an iPad from the US through them. They will act as proxy and sort out all the nitty gritty like shipping and customs for a 5% service charge. A US$5 shipping and handling charge also applies.
Now what’s left for us to do is find the cash to get one.
