It’s always exciting for people who work on the go when Lenovo launches a brand new set of ThinkPads, especially when its their flagship ThinkPad X1 laptops. And there’s good reason for that because they’re really good at what they’re designed to do.
This year, it’s no different, only it kind of is because my favourite ThinkPad X1 device has a brand new feature that I’ve been longing for.
When you think business, you think ThinkPad. And their X1 series of devices represent some of the best no-frills laptop experiences in the world. This year, Lenovo’s making them even better than before.
It’s all about the flare now. Laptops need to look cool, feel cool and have cool features that aren’t necessarily useful (I’m looking at you, Touch Bar) in order to appeal to the mass market, to appeal to that group of people who want to feel like they’re one of the elite. What about those of us who want all the performance, but without the frills?
Well, thankfully, you’ve still got the Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Carbon. And it’s the clean, focused and durable machine it’s always been — only now it’s looking even better than before.
Lenovo launched a massive roster of devices today. These products come in from all across the range from entry-level to high-end plus a bunch of funky new items. While time was rather limited, I did get to spend time with some of the more interesting items at the launch.
Lenovo launched quite a few devices over CES this year, and a bunch of them are now available for purchase locally. This includes the Lenovo Yoga 900s, ThinkPad X1 Tablet and the 3rd gen ThinkPad X1 Carbon.
