If you missed Machine’s RM1,000 discount offer for the iPhone X and iPhone 8, here comes another promo from Lazada Malaysia. Similar to Machines, this offer is only applicable to two models – the iPhone X 64GB and iPhone 8 256GB.
For those who prefer to own an iPhone X on a prepaid plan, Xpax is offering the latest Apple device on EasyPhone. There’s no upfront payment required and you don’t even need a credit card to apply. Retailing at RM5,189 for the 64GB version, the iPhone X can be yours at RM254/month.
The iPhone X is now available for pre-order in Malaysia and Maxis is offering the device from as low as RM3,075 with its MaxisONE Postpaid Plan. As usual, there are 3 options that are tied with a 24-month contract.
Team orange is also offering the latest iPhone X in Malaysia. Similar to the iPhone 8, U Mobile has only two postpaid options that are tied with a 24-month contract duration.
The iPhone X will land in Malaysia officially on 24 November 2017. To secure your unit ahead of everyone else, Maxis will be accepting pre-orders for the latest iPhone beginning this Friday, 17 November at the stroke of midnight.
UPDATE: The iPhone X goes on sale in Malaysia starting 24 November 2017.
For those who don’t want to buy an iPhone that looks the same as its predecessor, the iPhone X is the phone most people with deep pockets would look forward to. Apple Malaysia has finally revealed the official Malaysian pricing for the iPhone X and it’s definitely more than RM5,000.
UPDATE: We’ve updated the list with the official iPhone X Malaysian pricing.
With the arrival of the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus in Malaysia, there’s now a total of 8 iPhone models on sale in Malaysia. Actually, 15 in total if you count each storage option as a separate model. That’s a lot of iPhones and there’s one for every segment in the market if you have a minimum of RM1,499 to spend for a 2014 iPhone 6.

This week, if your feed looks anything like mine, it has probably been awash with news of Apple‘s new iPhones. iPhone launches are always exciting (I mean, if you’re into incremental updates, largely similar designs and Apple playing catch up), so it’s not surprising that everyone wants a piece of your attention.
Amidst all that coverage, there is one big question that still looms overhead: How much will it cost in Malaysia? How much of my hard earned, ever depreciating Ringgits will I have to drop to get my hands on the latest and greatest from Apple?
Well, we were wondering too so we did the one thing I got into writing to escape from — math. We looked at the past pricing trends, compared them with our neighbours down south and cross referenced them with the math our colleagues did over at TheSkop. And by “we did the math” I mean Alex did the math, I just stood next to him and pursed my lips.
