Chinese smartphone maker Huawei has announced that they have shipped over 10 million units of its P9/P9 Plus flagship. This marks a significant growth for them in the high-end smartphone segment.
If you’re looking for a new phone, Maxis is offering smartphones for only RM1. This covers a variety of models from Huawei, Samsung, ZTE, Alcatel, ASUS and OPPO.
The Huawei P9 now comes in a dash of pink with the release of its Rose Gold Edition. It will be offered as a limited edition device with only 999 units for the Malaysian market.
Huawei really hit a homerun when they launched their 2016 flagship P9 smartphone. It seemed to hit all the right notes for a well-rounded flagship smartphone device with the added benefit of having a pair of Leica-certified cameras.
But, the company wasn’t done yet. Simply producing a good flagship smartphone for 2016 wasn’t enough — they needed to dominate the competition. From that need, comes the P9 Plus, which is essentially a P9 on steroids.

The Huawei P9 is a solid flagship smartphone. It’s got a nice build, nice specs, and two Leica-certified 12-megapixel cameras mounted at the back.
What makes this dual camera setup special is that one shoots in colour while the other does monochrome. In theory, not only will you be able to take stunning, high contrast black and white photos, the dedicated monochrome sensor can also enhance colour images because it captures more light information.
