Earlier on we’ve seen a drop test for the new iPhone 5S and iPhone 5C. Now here’s another torture test but this time with the Motorola Moto X and Galaxy S4 in the mix in a series of drop, slide and dunk test into water. Surprisingly the American made Moto X was a clear winner among the 4 as it survived all 3 tests rather well. The Galaxy S4 disappointingly died in both drop and dunk test which is a huge contrast to what we’ve seen in Samsung’s official torture test video.
Check out the torture video after the break.

The ad is rich with metaphors but it’s not subtle, there’s no mention of features and specs but the message is clear, the Galaxy S4 is better than an iPhone (that’s what Samsung want you to think anyway).
Get ready to go on a mind trip right after the jump.
If you’re looking for a Galaxy S4 without the fancy and bloaty user interfaces, you might want to check this out. At Google I/O 2013, they have announced a Galaxy S4 Google edition which runs on plain vanilla Google OS. Think of it as Galaxy S4’s version of a Nexus smart phone without TouchWiz.
The details of the Galaxy S4 Google edition isn’t fully revealed apart of having 16GB of storage with LTE support and has its bootloader unlocked. It is good to know that despite being a Google device, it still retains a microSD expansion slot.
The Galaxy S4 Google edition will be on sale in the US from 26th June from Google Play. It will carry the price tag of $649, which is just slightly below RM2,000.
