After weeks of waiting, the Samsung Galaxy Note8 is finally getting its Android 8.0 Oreo update in Malaysia. If you bought your Galaxy Note8 with official Samsung Malaysia warranty, you should be able to download the update now.
While Android has come a long way since the dark days and has matured into a really awesome mobile operating system, there’s one area where it simply can’t hold a candle to its rival, Apple’s iOS: Rate of adoption. About half a year after its launch, Android Oreo is still only on just over 1% of all Android devices.
Before the year is out, HTC has started pushing the latest Android 8.0 Oreo update for their U11 flagship smartphone. This was tweeted by Mo Versi, HTC’s VP of Product Management and it is now available for unlocked units.
Honor is expected to drop their new flagship smartphone pretty soon, and the device’s TENAA listing shows it off before launch, bezel-less visage and all.
The honor 8 pro is one of the most affordable flagship phablets you can get for under RM2,000. It packs a huge 2K screen and it comes with a large 4,000mAh battery. When it comes to its software longevity, you’ll be happy to know that it will be getting the next version of Android.
Fresh from IFA 2017, Sony Mobile appears to be bringing its latest Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact into Malaysia very soon. These are their latest flagship smartphones that run on a top of the line Snapdragon 835 processor and both are running on the very latest Android 8.0 Oreo.
