UPDATE: OnePlus 5T pre-order is now available in Malaysia. Price starts from RM2,449.

As teased earlier, you can get your hands on the OnePlus 5T before Christmas. If you prefer to own one with official Brightstar Malaysia warranty, you can secure your unit as early as tomorrow.

Authorised retailer DirectD has announced yesterday that pre-orders for the official OnePlus 5T Malaysian unit will be available in less than 48 hours. This should be taking place sometime tomorrow and we expect both Brightstar and DirectD to reveal more details by end of today.

There’s no mention on price yet but we reckon it could be priced slightly higher than the current OnePlus 5. In Malaysia, the OnePlus 5 was officially released at RM2,388 for 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and RM2,688 for 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. It shouldn’t be priced more than RM2300 when in US it’s only $500 = RM2040 (current currency rate). That’s ALMOST RM 300 different.

iPhone X shouldnt be priced above RM4,100 when in US it is only 999 =RM 4072 (current currency rate). That’s almost RM 1100 different.

Yup. I agree with this too. Well if they increased the price for make profit, it shouldn't be too much. aint?

    For GST?

      Xclusive Xperience

You forgot Tourism Tax approx. RM10 per night for one room.

Stay many nights will increase the phone price as the phone is from China. I think China doll and Chinamen staying for over 30 days, that’s justifies the RM300 price hike.

The most disappointing about 5T still no flagship camera quality.
That is a bummer for the most people as camera is the most priority in buying phone in this price range…
The specification is awesome but camera is not, such a waste of potential…

Clear differentiating factor for smartphone is camera quality now.

Ram and storage are almost identical

Chips in android space are almost similar

Screen size and pixel differences are negligible

So it’s down to the camera

Give me a good quality camera as comparable with the top flagship model.. then i'd gladly give u my money
