redONE offers their lowest unlimited voice plan at RM48/month

redONE, the barebones postpaid MVNO is now offering the cheapest talk in town with their Voice 48 plan. For those who are looking for just unlimited voice calls and nothing else, this might be the plan for you.

For RM48/month, the Voice 48 plan gives you unlimited calls to all domestic mobile numbers only. According to the FAQ, calls to fixed lines (e.g. 03-XXXXXXXX) will be charged the normal rate except for toll-free and special numbers. Obviously, IDD and roaming calls are charged separately as well.

Calls to other numbers are charged at 15 sen/minute while SMS are charged at 5 sen each to redONE numbers and 10 sen each to other telcos. Despite not being tied to a device, the Voice 48 plan has a minimum contract period of 6 months.

Since this is a barebones unlimited voice plan, data is sold separately at 1GB for RM20 to 5GB for RM60. If you’re an internet savvy user, you would probably want to consider other postpaid plans that bundle calls and data together. Digi’s Postpaid 68 plan (RM68/month) offers unlimited calls to all networks with 3GB of bundled mobile data. If you need more, U Mobile’s Hero P70 plan at RM70/month gives you unlimited calls and a whopping 15GB of data (inclusive of 8GB extra data that’s valid until 31st December 2016).

In terms of coverage, redONE rides on Celcom’s coverage for both 3G and 4G connectivity. The Voice 48 plan is a time-limited offer from 19 September to 31 December 2016. For more info, head over to redONE”s Voice 48 page.
