Maxis reduces its OnePlus One price on contract

The highly raved OnePlus One is even more affordable as Maxis has reduced its bundled pricing to as low as RM599 on contract. When it was first introduced, the OnePlus One with 64GB storage was offered at RM859 and that’s with a 24 months contract of MaxisOne Plan with an extra 1GB data subscription costing RM158/month in total.

Not only the contract pricing has been reduced, you no longer need to take up the additional 1GB of data at RM30/month. So it is RM799 with 24 month commitment of the base MaxisOne Plan of RM128/month.

If you’re looking for something that’s less costly, the OnePlus is also offered on its lower MaxisOne Plan Lite that costs RM78/month. On MaxisOne Plan Lite, it is offered at RM799 with 24 months contract. During sign up, the MaxisOne Plan option (RM128/month) would require an upfront advance payment of RM512 while the Maxis One Plan Lite would need RM312 upfront.

The difference between the two plans is that the MaxisOne Plan comes with unlimited local calls and SMS with a serving of 2GB of internet. Meanwhile the cheaper MaxisOne Plan Lite offers unlimited calls/SMS within the Maxis/Hotlink network and it gets 1GB of internet. Any calls or SMS made to non-Maxis numbers will be charged at 15sen/minute for calls and 10sen per SMS.

Don’t want to be tied down? The OnePlus is still available outright without contract for RM1,199. Do note that all prices mentioned here are without GST.
