The mini version of the Sony Xperia Z1 is now officially revealed as the Xperia Z1 f for the Japan market. Just like the earlier leaks suggest, the Xperia Z1 f comes with a compact 4.3″ screen which does a lower 1280×720 pixels resolution.
While most “mini” versions of flagship smart phones are a notch down in terms of performance, the Xperia Z1 f still packs a punch retaining the same 2.2GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 800 processor with 2GB of RAM. Storage wise it comes with 16GB and an expandable microSD slot while the camera is the same 20.7MP shooter with G Lens. Apart from a smaller screen, another sacrifice is its battery which is a smaller 2,300mAh battery. Connectivity wise, it also comes with NFC and 4G LTE as standard.
No word on international availability yet as it is currently meant for Japan market on NTT Docomo. Head after the break for the promo video and additional images.
