If you can’t wait for the Sony Xperia Z1 details, the final piece of the puzzle has finally revealed. The folks at Xperia Blog has managed to get their hands on the Xperia Z1 press release which should be embargoed until tomorrow. Earlier on, its official Xperia Z1 photos have surfaced revealing the similar omni-balanced design but with a new 2 tone colour treatment on the sides.
Some of the notable points of the Xperia Z1 specs are as follows:
5″ Full HD 1920×1080 Display
2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 Processor
2GB of RAM
16GB of Storage
Expandable MicroSD slot
20.7MP Camera with G-Lens, 1/2.3″ Exmor RS Sensor & BIONZ processor
F/2.0 aperture and 27mm wide angle

In the software front, it runs on the current Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean. From the press release, there’s a new feature called Timeshift Burst which lets you take the best shot out of its 61 shots taken in 2 seconds. That’s equivalent of taking 30.5 photos per second.
When compared to a photography oriented smart phone like the Lumia 1020, the 41MP Lumia with Xenon lens is thicker at 10.4mm but yet lighter at 158 grams. This isn’t surprising considering the Lumia 1020 packs a 2,000mAh battery which is 33% less than the Xperia Z1.
Head after the break for the full press release of the Xperia Z1.
