Maxis really know how to squeeze more from the customers…. Good strategy to bundle it with high monthly subscription.
Anyway, still curious to see how it "perform" in Malaysia market.

Most of iphone users had switch to Samsung… not sure this will get them back.

Too expensive! Total ownership will be almost 3k! Not worth it al all.
I finally got to play with my friend's white iphone 5 yesterday . After all the web review about how great looking the phone is (like jewelry etc…) I was expecting much-much more. Yes the screen is better looking but in my opinion, the white 4S looks just as good, and feels more substantial. And the 5 is too longish.
Going to get the Maxis Surfmore iphone 4S package instead. Man, if only Windows phone 8 had the apps I use…..

when is celcom going to release their iphone 5 plan

by the way digi has got some nice rates for its latest prepaid plan –…

compare digi and maxis, maxis ivalue1 with 12 months contract is the best one if you are tight on budget and you want more data bandwidth and calls

Soyacincau does the iphone 5 will be sell by apple premium reseller in malaysia?

Resellers will sell the iPhone 5 but we can't confirm if it will be on December 14

no mention of maxis one club promotion?

We have no info on this at the moment. If you do, please tip us =)

soyacincau, i would like to double confirm again that. maxis free sms and mms only to their maxis network only? meaning i still have to fork up extra if i sms to non maxis users??

That's right. The Free SMS and MMS is only within Maxis network. SMS to others are charged separately.

Maxis 12 month contract seems to be the best offer so far, better than Digi, which I've signed up simply because I can't be bothered to port back to Maxis. No real regrets 🙂

@David, am also pondering whether to port back to Maxis from Digi.

I gave up on Maxis some time back. Bad service. Digi seems a bit better, but their 3G is forever dropping to E. Guess I'll have to live with Digi for now. Still, Maxis 12 months contract seem attractive ….

soyacincau, can we buy iPhone 5 at Maxis with retail price??

Does easy payment mean only that amount of rm 147 or so, including plan will show up on card or 2000 will be locked on our card?

passin' thru

Easy Payment means every month your card will be charged the amount agreed lah…If one time charge 2 k, its not easy payment… its called poket koyak lorr.

0Does this mean with ivalue1, if i keep my calls n smses strictly to maxis only, i actually get 333 + 1000 = 1333 mins of free calls n 200 + 800 = 1000 free smses?
