Samsung Galaxy Mini 2 Malaysia

Samsung has just released the Galaxy mini 2, which is yet another entry level Android smart phone to hit the Malaysian market at RM599. It runs on a 800MHz processor, 512MB of RAM and 4GB of storage which is expandable through microSD. At the front, it has a 3.27″ HVGA TFT display that does 480×320 and over at the back, there’s a 3MP camera. It is powered by a 1,300mAh battery and comes with NFC support built in, something we don’t usually see in this price range. As expected it still runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread.

Compared to the Galaxy Y, the mini 2 is a notch higher with a slightly bigger and higher resolution screen, upgraded camera and increased RAM and storage capacity. It is 11.63mm thick and weighs 105 grams.

For more information, head over to Samsung’s Galaxy Mini 2 page.

As a 2nd or spare phone, this one is powerful & tiny. Also great for new smartphone purchasers .

Ugly, slow and plasticky. I'd rather wait for the desire c.

ugly and slow. touchwiz makes the phone lag and worse. nfc is useless without ics running but i guess smart tags can be used

still running gingerbread??? omg.. htc is gonna overtake samsung this year.

with Wildfire C and One V though. if Samsung does update this phone, angry owners of the Galaxy W(me) or other Samsung single-cored ics unupgradable phones will start to complain.

i can't believe Galaxy W is not getting ics when it's hardware is fully capable of running ics.
At the moment when they announced no ics for galaxy w, .
i sold my phone away and bought a one v.
the one v is many times better than the galaxy w.
it feels premium, it doesnt lag as bad as the galaxy w, sense is nicer than shitwiz.
and i will never go back to Samsung anymore. NEVER.

NFC is not even listed on Samsung site.

Still 2.3 Gingerbread?..Why Samsung?
