With the big boys releasing quad-core smart phones, Sony has to up their game with a new flagship device. The upcoming Hayabusa is expected to close the gap with its rivals with a 4.55″ 720p HD screen, faster dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm S4 processor & a better 13MP camera.
Earlier on, a purported photo of the device was spotted in the wild. This time, the blurry picture above is said to be a back shot of the Hayabusa. From the photo, it does seem to show some arc-like design at the sides with a subtle curve on the back. According to Xperia Blog, this could be the spiritual successor to the iconic Xperia arc that was introduced last year.
For those that felt today’s quad core smart phones doesn’t cut it in terms of design, we can probably expect something more refreshing from the Sony design team. Hopefully the Hayabusa will not fail to impress.
UPDATE: Sony Xperia U price revealed at RM899.
