The phones that LG has identified to be able to receive the update are:

Prada phone by LG 3.0 — Release date in Malaysia unknown

The range if LG devices will be extended to the following starting from the third quarter of 2012.

4 Comments for LG to start pushing Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich updates from Q2 2012

Q2 2012? LG is always the laggard in providing OS updates. The LG Optimus 2X did not get an upgrade from Android 2.2 to 2.3 until 10 months after 2.3 was released and that was only after they were slammed kaw-kaw on facebook. Q2 is just not acceptable. Samsung is providing updates for Galaxy S2 in Q1. No wonder LG is losing money in the smartphone business.

I expect further delays maybe until Q3. At that time, there's Android Jellybean and LG is 2 steps behind

Hahaha, at that time, the LG will annouce again…. We will update for all phone to Jelly Bean at Q3 2013, everybody please wait wait ahhhhhhhh…. at the end, I think 2015 still all the LG phone will still stuck at Android 2.2………………..FxxK LG…..

Q2 and Q3 for to upgrade to ICS which was released in Oct 2011? No smartphone user is going to wait 8 – 11 months for an upgrade. This shows LG doesn't understand the smartphone business. Poor fellows. No wonder LG is the only smartphone manufacturer losing money in 2011.
