DiGi has finally started to offer the white iPhone 4, after Maxis and Celcom started theirs much earlier. A while back, DiGi was the first to indicate that they are bringing in the iPhone 4 but turns out that they are late for the party. Well like the saying goes, better late than never.
For those who wanted lower commitment and easier to own payment plans with up to 36 months 0% interest installment, DiGi might be something worth considering. If you’re interested, you might want to catch their roadshow at KLCC Centre area from today 11th until 14th June.
More information at DiGi’s iPhone 4 page.

UPDATE: Maxis has confirmed that the the white iPhone 4 is available at all Maxis Centres in the Klang Valley. They advise you tweet to @maxislistens on stock availability.
Maxis has revealed that it is offering the White iPhone 4 claiming it to be the first to offer it in Malaysia. A while ago, DiGi started a teaser that it is offering the White iPhone 4 but had not provided any availability dates. Singapore had theirs last Friday.
We have no idea whether it is available at all Maxis outlets at the moment but from the copy above, it looks like Maxis is riding riding on the Mother’s Day celebrations which is coming this Sunday, 8th of May.
For more information, head to Maxis’s iPhone 4 page.
Thanks to chengkiong for the heads up!

The White iPhone 4 has finally launched this week should attract attention from those that simply want a different type of iPhone. Surprisingly, colour is not the only difference between the White and Black versions. According to engadget and tipb, the White iPhone 4 is 0.2mm thicker!
First thing that came to our mind is whether existing iPhone 4 accessories would fit and are we expecting a different range of case just to fit this white colour version. According to tipb, they have tested a couple of skins, pouches, bumpers, cases & even mophie juice pack pro and found no issues installing them on the White iPhone 4. This could be due to some tolerance and additional margins in the case to fit the device.
Why is it thicker? It was mentioned that Apple need to add additional UV protection layer to reduce interruptions between the cover and components. It was shared that this UV protection layer also helped to make the White iPad 2 possible.

It’s official. The white iPhone 4 will make its way to Apple retail stores in the following country starting from today — Thursday, April 28.
Austria, Australia, Belgium, Canada, China, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Japan, Luxembourg, Macau, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, South Korea, Spain, Switzerland, Sweden, Taiwan, Thailand, UK and the US.
Pricing for the white iPhone 4 is exactly the same as its non-white stablemate and while DiGi has opened registration of interest for the device, there is no word as to when it will come to Malaysia.
All Apple have to say about availability in other countries is that it’s coming soon. Soon being a relative term in this context.
So would you get a white iPhone 4 now or wait for the iPhone 4s/iPhone 5 to make an appearance sometime in September?

LOL jk. Would be the awesomest Angry Birds edition ever though.
Bonus: White iPhone 4 spotted in the wild.

Remember the past “banned” iPhone 4 ads? They same guys has did it again this time on the extended delay of the iPhone 4 until next spring.
In the video, they talk about the purported cause of the delay which is due to the camera. Being frustrated, they also poked fun at those who are still patiently waiting for the white iPhone 4, calling them fools as they are just going to cover it up with a case anyway, so why not just go Black.

We reported earlier that the white iPhone 4 had made its appearance in the US Apple Store. On that account it was safe to assume that the white iPhone 4 will be available for purchase very soon.
Turns out it’s not.
Apple has once again delayed the shipment of the white iPhone 4 to early 2011. Other than that, no explanation was offered as to why the white iPhone 4 is taking so long to hit the market.
The problem is, an early 2011 launch would mean that it’s going to be very close the impending announcement on the successor of the iPhone 4 at WWDC11 which usually happens around sometime in June.
If you know that a new iPhone is coming, would you still be interested in a white iPhone 4?

The elusive white iPhone 4 finally makes an appearance in the Apple Store. But before you start putting up your black up for sale in the hopes of netting the white one, you must know that although the white iPhone 4 is on display in the US online Apple Store, it is “currently unavailable for order or in-store pickup“.
Nevertheless, the fact that Apple has put up a picture of the device in the store means that the white iPhone 4 will be making it’s way to eagerly awaiting customers very soon.
Alright, who’s going to bet whether it’ll be DiGi or Maxis that’s going to offer the white iPhone 4 first?

There’s been a lot of talk to what happened to the white version of the iPhone 4. Many are speculating that Apple is taking its time to fix the antenna issue before it puts out the white iPhone 4 into the market. Another theory is that there are some quality issues with the white glass used on the white iPhone 4. The problem with the white glass is that it’s letting light lfrom the RetinaDisplay leak out.
Either way, there’s no official white iPhone 4s out there. There are of course some DIY ones but no factory fresh ones, and suddenly out of nowhere we see an unboxing of the unicorn of the smartphone world — the white iPhone 4.
The jury is still out on whether this is legit or not and we’re 50-50 on this as well, but what’s clear is that Apple is taking its own sweet time to get the White iPhone 4 out into the market, let’s hope that by the time that the white iPhone 4 does make it into stores, the antenna issue has been fixed.
Anyway, what do you think of the white iPhone 4? Its too white for our tastes.
