Plans and pricing are not revealed yet but it is likely to be bundled on their new postpaid plans. Recently U Mobile has been aggressive in the device game with the latest gadgets offering. In fact, they are more active than Maxis which has been very quiet lately in terms of smart phone bundling.

For the BlackBerry Bold 9790, U Mobile is throwing FREE BlackBerry car charger, leather pocket and Jabra bluetooth headset worth over RM250 for the first 100 subscribers.

UPDATE: Galaxy W is bundled by Celcom from RM328. U Mobile to offer as well in early December.

IMCC has announced the Samsung Galaxy W for an affordable RM999 in Malaysia. The Galaxy W is a mid-tier device in their new naming convention and is actually a replacement for their current Samsung Galaxy Ace.

Despite being a mid-tier device, the Galaxy W is no slouch as it runs on a single core 1.4GHz processor and it has Android 2.3 Gingerbread installed. The front has a larger 3.7″ S-LCD display with 800×480 resolution and internally comes with 2GB storage and 512MB of RAM. For imaging, it has a 5MP camera with assisted flash that’s capable of shooting 720p HD videos. There’s also a VGA camera at the front for video calls. They have also thrown in a rather generous 1500mAh battery as well.

For RM999, the Galaxy W packs quite a lot for less which puts other expensive rivals to shame. Seems like Samsung is able to give HTC a run for their money.

Check out demo videos after the break.

Along with the new naming convention, Samsung has announced four new Galaxy phones — one “W” (high-tier), one “M” (mid-tier) and two “Y” phones (entry-level) — that’s slated to make an appearance at next week’s IFA 2011 in Berlin.

First up, we have the Android 2.3 running Samsung Galaxy W packs a 1.4GHz processor and a 3.7-inch WVGA screen along with a 1500mAh battery. There’s also a 5MP camera in there somewhere.

Next, we have the Samsung Galaxy M Pro which also runs Android 2.3 and features a 1GHz processor with a 2.7-inch HVGA screen and a 5MP camera rear camera. There’s also a VGA front-facing VGA camera and a 1350mAh battery.

In the entry-level segment, we have the Samsung Galaxy Y and the Galaxy Y Pro. Both the Y and Y Pro are essentially the same device with Android, 2.3, a 800MHz processor and a 2MP main camera and a 1200mAh battery. The only difference is the Y Pro has a physical QWERTY keyboard and possibly a smaller screen than the 3-inch Galaxy Y.

And that’s about it but it’s by no means the end of it. Samsung has dropped hints that it will be introducing something big at this year’s IFA — the world’s largest trade show for consumer electronics and home appliances — happening in Berlin next week. It’s possible that Samsung will be launching a new flagship device but that’s not confirmed.
