Finally, after months of beta trials, Samsung Pay is going official in Malaysia. This is a mobile payment service that allows you to make payments at card terminals using your Galaxy smartphone. Initially available only for Maybank VISA card holders, Malaysian Samsung Pay users will soon be able to cards issued from other banks and networks.
If you’ve been on Facebook recently, you’ve probably seen a post of an infographic that was published in a local daily about electronic pick-pocketing. The infographic suggests that criminals can use smartphones and other NFC-enabled devices to steal card information, at times, without you even knowing it.
