Is it just us or did DiGi’s CEO Johan Dennelind just hinted that DiGi will be bringing in the new iPhone?
Johan was quoted saying in a StarBiz report earlier this month that DiGi’s a key partner with Apple and expects to be treated as such. He also said that DiGi customers expect the latest too.
We got news for you Johan, all of us expect the latest. So get cracking on bringing in the iPhone HD/4G to Malaysia ASAP!

Product leaks are a major problem for any organisation, especially in the technology front. As the industry gets competitive, any leak or glimpse of future products give rivals opportunity to alter their game plan and come out with counter products.
With the recent leak, obviously the folks at Apple aren’t too happy about it. In retaliation, the iPhone HD/4G will be delayed. Check out the video after the jump of purportedly “Steve Jobs” respond towards Gizmodo.

It happened last year and the year before, and its happening again this year. AT&T has reportedly blocked employees annual leaves for June 2010, apparently in anticipation of a major product launch.
Everyone knows what’s going to happen in June right?
As mentioned, Apple will be releasing the new iPhone OS 4.0 in June; and what’s the point of an all-new software? To support an all-new hardware of course.
The clues are unravelling, the pieces of the puzzle are coming into place and slowly, all will be revealed.
We’ll keep you posted!

The geeks at Gizmodo beat everyone to the punch and revealed what is very likely to be the new iPhone.
We’re speechless and gobsmacked in the awesomeness of the new device but its not all good news; as apparently the new iPhone will require the use of a Micro-SIM, a SIM card format that is currently not supported here in Malaysia.
Could it be that Apple’s move to Micro-SIM is a way to curb grey importers from selling Apple’s mobile devices outside their intended markets.
Well whatever it is, all is not lost, luckily for us, the good people at techradar have posted up a step-by-step guide on how to snip your standard size SIM card to fit into a Micro-SIM slot. We’ll be practicing on this to get ready for when the new iPhone goes on sale.
Point to note: this hack was originally intended for the iPad 3G/WiFi, so if you’re planning to get one of those, this works too.
It is getting more convincing that the leaked photos we saw recently is indeed the next generation iPhone from Apple. Gizmodo has an interesting post on what they believed is the next Apple iPhone.
Not only they have played with the device, they even dissected the unit to reveal what’s really under the hood.

Some discoveries are:
Folks at Gizmodo and Engadget are pretty convinced and we share the same excitement on what the next iPhone has to offer.
Check out more juicy photos and video over at Gizmodo here.
Engadget reported that they have spotted what seems to be solid proof that the earlier released pictures that were speculated to be of the upcoming iPhone HD is indeed the real deal.
Apple and iPhone fanboys are going crazy with this new revelation but we’re not holding our breaths just yet.
Apple is no pushover and when it comes to things like this they will most definitely know how to keep a secret, a secret.
Engadget Editor-in-Chief Joshua Topolsky seems to think otherwise and in convinced that what we’re looking at is in fact the latest iPhone prototype.
We’re still not buying it though, the design language is just too different from all the previous generation iPhone.
What do you think?

Could this be the very first glimpse of the back plate of the iPhone HD?
We’re not too sure ourselves actually.
But most probably, its not. The source mentioned that the picture Metada indicates it has passed through Photoshop CS4. A doctored hoax? You tell us.

Apple forums are buzzin with rumours that the new iPhone will make its appearance on June 22. Fueling this rumour is a report that Apple has booked a venue for the launch of the device on the particullar date.
Obviously, Apple is not saying anything and like most Apple rumours, the accuracy of this June 22 rumour is 50-50 at best but we remain optimistic.
Why?
Because apparently the venue in question booked by Apple for 22 June could be the very same venue where Jobs launched the three previous iPhones.
One of the venues being mentioned in the rumours is the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco where many Apple special media events have taken place in the past. Of course, the venue booking can’t be substantiated at the moment.
Another rumour is saying that the new iPhone could be unveiled during the keynote address for Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference whic is almost certainly always held at the Moscone West convention center in San Francisco. This could be a likely source of the rumours. Simillarly we and no one out there (on one who’s working in Apple at least) can verify any of this.
So all this could very well be a huge puff of smoke or we could be in for a very awesome surprise come June 22.
Stay tuned.

As developers are getting their hands on the the iPhone OS 4.0, some have uncovered what could be clues that point to the possibility of iChat, forward facing camera and flash making it to the upcoming iPhone HD.
Like all rumours of this sort, there is no way to confirm or deny it and the existance of such features could very well be for something else entirely.
Having said that, the guys at MobileCrunch have put up a compeling theory of as to what the clues could actually mean.
In addition, Engadget have also discovered processes in the iPhone OS 4.0 SDK that points to the possibility of some sort of flash and torchlight function.
All this is nothing new in the mobile world, so why are we all getting worked up when Apple puts it on an iPhone?
Apple coming late into the game could very well mean one thing – a game changing execution and implementation of a traditional application. In this case, video calls.
We’re keeping our fingers crossed.

Hot at the heels of the iPAd launch, Apple has issues a press invite to reveal iPhone OS 4.0 and with it, possibly, specifications of the new iPhone.
8 April 2010. Mark your calendars people!
