If you’re looking for a postpaid plan under RM100, Digi’s Postpaid 80 hits the sweet spot by offering unlimited calls and 20GB for RM80/month. For those who use more data on the weekdays, the data split of 10GB for all-day and 10GB for weekends can be annoying.
Now Digi has an added option to give you more freedom to use your data. Similar to Celcom’s AnydayGB add-on, you can combine both all-day and weekend data for a small fee each month.
When Digi introduced their new postpaid plans, it came with a data split of all-day and 4G weekend quota. Like the name suggests, the weekend data was only applicable if you’re on their 4G network. Any data usage on their 3G or 2G network will utilise your all-day data bucket.
Now it seems that Digi is loosening its data restriction as they have made some changes to their 4G weekend clause. This is good news for subscribers that are staying on the fringe of a 4G coverage area.
If you’re planning to switch to Digi, they are now throwing extra deals if you sign up with them online. New Digi Postpaid 80 subscribers will get more data while Postpaid 110 will get extra rebates of RM120.
Need lots of data without paying through the nose? U Mobile is still the postpaid leader when it comes to delivering the best value in town.
Recently, other telcos have started to get generous on data but they are still nowhere close to what U Mobile has to offer. Unconvinced? Let’s run down the plan offering one by one.
Digi has revamped its postpaid offering again and this time, it offers twice the amount of data than before. Previously packing 10GB of data and unlimited calls for RM80/month, the new revamped Postpaid 80 now comes with 20GB of data for the same price.
Looks like they are doubling up what Celcom has to offer with its current FIRST Gold.
Following Maxis’ move to upgrade their MaxisONE and SurfMore 50 plans with more quota, the competition continues to shake things up. Celcom has announced an even higher postpaid plan with larger quota while Digi has introduced a new plan (sort of) with more data for the weekends. Not to be left out, U Mobile has also extended its P70 Hero postpaid’s extra 8GB promo until the end of 2016.
So how do the new plans stack up? Read on for our full comparison.

Hot on the heels of Celcom‘s latest postpaid plan announcement, Digi has come up with their own new plan — the Digi Postpaid 80 (More Calls & SMS) — which offers a 10GB of data quota for RM80/month plus unlimited calls and unlimited SMS to 3 Digi Friends.
