Nubia pulled an interesting rabbit out of their hat when the company announced their brand new flagship smartphone, the Nubia Z17. It had all the juicy specs plus a few cool tricks up its sleeve which made it rather exciting when the company said it would land in Malaysia this month.
Well, that day hasn’t come yet but the ZTE sub brand is bringing in another interesting new device. It’s called the Z17 mini and if you’ve read the headline, you know it packs quite a punch.
Nubia, ZTE’s sub-brand has officially entered the Malaysian market. At its official launch today, nubia has also shared that their newest flagship, the nubia Z17 will be coming to Malaysia very soon. This is the world’s first Snapdragon 835 flagship smartphone with 8GB RAM and it’s also the first to feature Qualcomm’s newest QuickCharge 4+ fast charging technology.
ZTE’s sub-brand, nubia, is increasingly making inroads into the Malaysian market. After introducing its selfie-centric M2 series, nubia is finally bringing its flagship model locally with the Nubia Z11. It has top of the line specs with 6GB RAM and 64GB storage, and you can get it for under RM2,000.
There are a couple of new flagship smartphones running on Snapdragon 835 processor these days. This includes the Sony Xperia XZ Premium, Xiaomi Mi 6, HTC U11 and the Galaxy S8 for the US market. If you’re looking for that extra edge, ZTE’s sub-brand Nubia has a new flagship smartphone that stands out as an interesting alternative.
Meet the Nubia Z17. It’s the first Snapdragon 835 powered device to come with 8GB of RAM and it’s also the first to incorporate Qualcomm’s latest QuickCharge 4+.
If we take at look at smartphone shipment numbers, having a selfie-centric smartphone seems to be a briliant idea. The OPPO R9s is currently the most popular Android smartphone and it is clear that both OPPO and vivo are doing well worldwide because of their popular camera/selfie focused models.
Nubia, ZTE’s independent brand wants to cash in the selfie craze by introducing two new models in Malaysia. What’s even interesting is that both are quite similar in hardware and pricing as their key competitors.
