Today, more than ever, smartphone manufacturers are really taking the time to make their devices feel premium — borderline exquisite, in some cases. However, with fancy materials like glass and polished aluminium, these handsets we carry around with us are more prone to scratches than ever before.
This then makes us want to protect it with something like a case. But cases suck. They are bulky and tacky. They cover up all the nice bits on our smartphones, bits that we paid our hard-earned money to feel. But we all have to suffer through that if we want to keep our phones scratch free.
