The Goods and Service Tax (GST) is just around the corner as the month of March draws to a close, and it’s a given that a lot of the electronics we know and love are going to get a price hike come April 1st.

This article could have been much simpler. Just one line of "Everything will be tax except Data and Voice Call" will be good enough.

Nope. I think it is good that he have listed everything so that i have the idea of what to buy!

1 million out of 12 million working population pay income tax. 65% contribution of corporate tax income comes from GLCs and big chunk comes from Petronas.

Sounds fair that everyone due their bit. This is after all, our country. Not the only responsibility of that 1 million working people.

I can see a shops close down. Been told they are registering under a new company just to avoid declaring income above 500k per annum. Don't know how Customs going to catch them. Like this also want to cheat?

    GSM

Are you saying before this that 11 million didnt pay any taxes at all?

      Rip
