It did initially, but Asus apparently fixed it with a software update. Asus doesn't even list GPS as a feature in their spec sheet. http://eee.asus.com/eeepad/transformer-prime/spec…
Makes one wonder whether GPS was an after thought. Anyway, with the unveiling of TF700T at CES, the Prime is already DOA.

You should consider screen side too. The Tab has 7.7 inch, while the Prime has 10 inch. They are in different category, i think.
