
Microsoft’s Windows Phone 7 is looking sexier with the release of new videos on its Microsoft Office capabilities. Just like its predecessor Windows Mobile Pocket PCs, support of viewing and editing Office documents has always being Microsoft’s biggest winning point.

TM Subscribers aren’t going to be happy for the weeks to come. A submarine cable which connects to United States and Europe is facing some issues. This will affect international traffic to Malaysia which most of our content obtained are overseas.
To minimise the impact, TM is sourcing for alternative international link to solve the problem. It is reported that rectification works will be on-going until May 2nd for the international links to restore back to normal.

Another update on the Palm sale! Reuters reported the Lenovo is taking the lead on the purchase of Palm. It was also mentioned that HTC after going through Palm’s books, they decided to pull out from the bid.
Other companies that speculated to join the bid such as Huawei and ZTE were also mentioned that they are not going ahead with the bid.
Some analysis had also advised against purchasing Palm as the company is facing some debt issues which is a challenge to turn over.

Word has it that Google’s Nexus One with Broadcom’s wireless LAN on-board chip is capable of supporting 802.11n. Apparently this will be available once the new drivers to allows 802.11n protocol to work.
The 802.11n was reported to be initially included in the specification at launch but was mysteriously removed. It could be Google had issues on 802.11n stability and a fix to this might be released soon.
