P1 W1GGY now supports Mac

For the longest time, we’ve been waiting for a Mac driver for the P1 W1GGY USB WiMAX modem.

P1 took their time getting it out but we’re happy to inform that there is now P1 W1GGY driver support for Mac OS Leopard and Snow Leopard.

Pitty no Linux support though.

Hit up the LINK to download the Mac driver.

Please help me on my P1 Wiggy (Model 235) on my MacBook Pro set up.
There's no way I can do the set up on my MacBook Pro Laptop. It's work on my PC only!
Well……is really piss off!

    Hi Mervin,

Either you get the dongle replaced (probably a faulty firmware) or run VIrtual Machine and install the Windows driver.

    Hope this helps.

Just got my P1 Wiggy UH235 today but no driver for my Macbook Pro. Although the instruction leaflet shows the set up for Mac OS with the installation file P1WiMAX.dmg

Hi Steven,

Have you tried downloading the driver from the website? http://www.p1.com.my/wimax/wiggy_packages_ref.asp

If you have and it still doesn't work then we're not sure what else is there to do. We've got a UH with us now and having problems getting it detected on a PC as well. So you might want to take it back to P1 and check if the firmware is faulty.

All the best!
